Working as a carer is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers for the right person.

Being a personal carer for an elderly person or a person with disabilities is a deeply fulfilling and rewarding career that will leave you knowing that you’ve made a positive impact on another person’s life.

It’s a gift to be able to help someone live comfortably at home for as long as possible. You might be surprised by how strong of a bond you can develop as a carer and how much you can learn about the people you meet. We all have stories and hold our own wisdom. To be so close to another person opens our eyes to new ideas and ways of being in the world.

Working as a carer is also well suited to people who have a family or other commitments. It provides you with flexibility that most jobs do not offer. Due to the nature of this work, you can choose to fit your working hours around your own personal or family commitments.
